Ama Dablam is a nice and beautiful mountain in the Himalaya range of eastern part of Nepal. The main and major peak is 6,813 meters (22,354 ft), the lower western peak is 6,169 meters(20,239 ft).
Ama Dablam means or (tesakomatalab) "Mother's necklace" the long ridges on each side like the arms of a mother (ama, Amai) protecting her child, and the hanging glacier thought of as the dablam,the traditional double-pendant containing pictures of the gods, worn by Sherpa women.
